Raymond Joseph Weakland

Raymond Joseph Weakland, 79 years old of Westover, PA, died Oct 14, 2018, at his residence.

He was born May 2, 1939 in Hastings, PA, son of Bernard and Frances (Natcher) Weakland.

Raymond was a U S Army Veteran serving from Feb 1963 to Feb 1967 with Btry B 6th Ma 1 Bn Arty 

He worked as a truck driver, heavy equipment operator and farmer.

Surviving are his  wife, Lee Ann (Gates) Weakland, whom he married Jan. 29, 1966, in St Bernard’s Catholic Church, Hastings Pa , son & daughter-in-law, Raymond (Bud) & Brenda Weakland, of Hastings daughter & son-in-law, Donna (Gene) Holley, of Coshocton  Ohio.

Also surviving are his siblings: Clair ( Jean) Weakland, Jack Weakland, , both of Hastings,  Ralph (Betty) Weakland of Patton, Evelyn (Preston) Spacht, of Hastings,  Agnes (Junior) Lytle  of Oregon, Marian Jones of  Ohio,  Carol ( Bill) Lynn, of West Virginia.  Grandson, Scott Weakland, granddaughter, Megan Weakland, 3 Great Grandchildren & 2 on the way.

Raymond was preceded in death by father, Bernard Weakland, mother, Francis (Natcher) Weakland, Brother, Leroy Weakland, sister, Christina Weakland, Sisters in law, Grace  Weakland, &, Bonnie Weakland.

Services will be held at East Ridge Cemetery, on Oct. 20 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gary McGarvey officiating.

Military rites will be by the local veteran organizations
