WESTOVER — Roy E. Westover Sr., 80, of Westover, died at his residence on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
He was born July 13, 1938 in Westover, a son of Hiram and Mary (Bell) Westover.
He worked as a laborer for Noren Pools.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kurtz Westover; daughter and son-in-law, Tangie and Walter Weakland, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Todd Ferguson, daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and John Spacht, daughter, Jill Fox, son, Daniel Westover; brother, Harry Westover; sister, Ruth Bone; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Roy E. Westover Jr.; brothers, Miles, Hiram, Arthur and Harvey; and sisters, Hazel, Margaret, Betty, and Mary Bell; also one great-grandchild.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday, March 29, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. at the at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona with Pastor Gary McGarvey officiating.
Interment will follow at Westover Cemetery.
