CURWENSVILLE — Walter L. Passmore, 84, of Curwensville, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Curwensville.
He was born Sept. 22, 1934 in Lumber City, a son of George H. Passmore and Sarah Anderson.
He was a member of Banner Ridge Comunity Church. He worked as a coal miner for Baer Run Coal Co.
Surviving is a son, Walter Jr. and wife Andrea; daughters, Penny Sue and husband David, and Pauline and husband Rocky; brothers, Ed, Ellis, and Rodney; sisters, Betty and Alice; 13 grandchildren; also 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, George H. Passmore; mother, Sarah Anderson Passmore; brothers, George Jr., Floyd and Charles; sisters, Helen, Julia, Ida Rose, Ruth, Elta, Edna and Wanda.
Graveside services and interment will be held at McClure Cemetery, Curwensville, at 1 p.m. on June 1, 2019 with the Rev. James Hurd officiating.
