Anna Mary Snyder Obituary

Anna Mary Snyder, 99, a long time resident of Mahaffey, went peacefully to be with her Lord and her loving husband, Herbert on Aug. 14, 2022.

She was born Sept. 16, 1922 to John and Margaret Dimmick.

She is survived by six children and 13 grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. Her children are Wendell (Ann) Snyder, Linda (Frank) Pastin, Roger (Rusty) Snyder, Patricia (Edward) Wolff, Virginia (Robert) Snyder-Huber, and Beverly (Steve) Kundla. Her grandchildren are Brenda (Tim) Mcgarvey, Duane Snyder, LeAnn Pastin, Kim (George) Bules, Stacy (Troy) Hauser, Jason Wolff, Emily (Kevin) Bauer, Jared (Jessica) Wolff, Tessa (Jim) Hanley, Lisa (Mark) Kuhn, Michael (Tanis) Snyder, Devin (Shannon) Kundla and Aaron Kundla. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Don Dimmick (who she called Sweet Pea); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a very loving person with a sympathetic ear. She was kind, generous and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was known for her love of Jesus and her family. Everyone loved her cooking, especially her homemade bread, butter, sugar cookies and donuts. Anna Mary was very young at heart and never considered herself old, no matter her age. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, Jeopardy, bird watching, singing, watching football, baseball, attending church and reading her Bible. She loved her grandchildren and her face lit up when they visited.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; sister Helen; brothers, Delmont and Jack; her husband of 70 years, Herbert; her son Robert; and great-granddaughter Autumn Mulhollen.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Christopher Yingling of Mount Nittany Health who saved her life and gave us many more years to enjoy her.
