Billie M. (Beam) Blake

Billie (Beam) Blake, 75, of Westover, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2023.

She was born Oct. 14, 1947, daughter of the late Ruby (Gill) Beam and William Beam of LaJose.

She graduated from Purchase Line High School in 1965.

On Jan. 8 1966 she married the love of her life, Howard LeRoy Blake, who survives. Together they were foster parents to many children for over 30 years.

She is survived by daughters, Carrie (Richard) Bennett of Lumber City, Kristy Blake of Irvona, Heather (Tony) Isenberg of Altoona; sons, Robert (Jodi) Blake of Punxsutawney, Terry (Brittany) Blake of Northern Cambria, Andrew Blake of Clearfield, Joshua Blake and Conner Blake of Westover; several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also siblings, Mary Smith of Westover, Shirley (Jim) Breth of Circleville, W. Va., Russell (Pat) Beam of Sumter, S.C., sons-in-law, Ric Bush of Mahaffey and David Helsel of Irvona.

Preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; daughters, Tammy Bush and Lisa Helsel; sister and brother-in-law Pat and Calvin Shoffiner; nephew, Mike Shoffiner; granddaughter, Amelia Blake; and brother-in-law, Paul Smith.

Billie was a very dedicated member of Westover Baptist Church, where a private service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Westover Baptist Church, P.O. Box 208, Westover PA 16692.
