IRVONA — Clyde Dean Toner, 70, of Irvona, died Friday, Jan. 13 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born June 15, 1946 in Irvona, son of Clyde and Nellie (Fredrick) Toner.
Mr. Toner was a member of Glendale Sportsman Club.
He worked as a maintenance man for Howes Leather.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia (Swope) Toner; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Cindy Toner and Gary and Tammy Toner; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Gregory Gardner; a sister, Marian Brink; a sister and husband, Linda and Louis Nardelli; five grandchildren, Shirley, Gary, Nicolas, Sarah and Tyler; also four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Eileen Queen, Grace Irwin and Edna Brink; a grandchild, Mary Toner; and a brother, Charles Toner.
Prayer services will be at St Basil The Great Roman Catholic Church, Coalport at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 followed by a graveside service at the St. Basil Cemetery by the Rev. Fr. Zab Amar.
The Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc. of Irvona is in charge of arrangements.
