Edward Passmore of New Washington died at Penn Highlands DuBois on Feb. 8, 2024.
Born Aug. 17, 1941, son of George Hall Passmore and Sarah Viola Anderson
He married Bonnie Kester on May 11, 1968; she survives at home.
He was a U.S. Military Veteran of the Vietnam War
He worked for T. White Lumber Co.
Survived by wife Bonnie; and children, sons, Edward (Justine) of Commodore, Stephen (Gloria) of LaJose, John (Melissa) of Mahaffey, Louis ( Cassandra) of Dixonvile; and one daughter Jenny Passmore of Fayetteville; brothers, Ellis and Rodney; sisters, Betty and Alice; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren
Preceded in death by parents; brothers, George, Walter, Floyd and Charles; sisters, Helen, Julia, Ruth, Alta, Ida Rose; son, Gerry Passmore; and daughter-in-law Pegi.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. and from noon until time of service on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Kester at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at the New Washington Cemetery with military rites.
