Edward Westover, Sr

Edward E. Westover, 78, of Westover, died May 5, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born March 28, 1948, and was the son of Richard E. and Nora (Pierce) Westover.

He married Elizabeth Snow.

He worked for PennDOT.

He is survived by his spouse, Elizabeth; sons, Edward Jr. (Megan) and James R. and girlfriend (Jenny), all of Westover; daughter, Jallene E. (Travis) Shirley of Homer City; sisters, Debra W. and April K., both of Westover; and his dogs.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Jr.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., 91 Rose St., Irvona, and Saturday at the LaJose Word of God Church from 10-11 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Leonard Kinney officiating.

Burial will be in the East Ridge Cemetery.
