Elaine A. Gregory, 69, of Coalport, died unexpectedly at UPMC Altoona on July 24, 2022.
She was born June 24, 1953 in Altoona, daughter of Lloyd S. Gates and Rita M. Conway.
She was a member of St. Joan of Arch Catholic Church, Frugality. She worked as a teacher for Northern Cambria Catholic School.
Surviving are brother, Daniel Gates of Centralia, Ill.; sister, Mary Lou Hammand of Duncansville; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila (Brandon) Smith of Summerset; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Joy (Wendel Hullihan) Gregory of Bellefonte; and grandchildren, Sean, Marissa, Nyla and Johnathan Smith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd S. Gates; mother, Rita M. Conway Gates; husband, Kenneth Gregory; and brother, Timothy Gates.
At the request of Elaine, there will be no viewing.
A mass service will be held at a later date.
