Ethel Dudurich, 96, Irvona, died Thursday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She was born in Madera, daughter of the late Metro and Nancy (Culubanish) Fundack. In July 1947, she married John J. Dudurich in Ramey, and he died in August 1995.
Surviving are three children: Robert (Sheri) Dudurich, Shirley (Bernard) Belgin and Darlene Dudurich; five grandsons: Bernard (Heather) Belgin, Brian (Jennifer) Belgin, Adam Dudurich, Douglas (Nicole) Belgin and Brad (Mindy) Belgin; a granddaughter, Candice (Chris) Snyder; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law: Christine Malhalko and Eva Hazelton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Dudurich; a great-granddaughter, Madilyn Hope Belgin; four brothers: Michael, John, Andrew and Peter Fundack; and four sisters: Mary Glusco, Madeline Palardy, Ann Lloyd and Kathryn Capatch. She was the last of her generation.
Ethel worked as a laborer for Sylvania in Altoona and at General Cigar in Philipsburg. She was a member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, Irvona, and St. Michael’s Sisterhood.
She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, Irvona, Father David Lewis officiating. Interment will be afterward in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Irvona.
