Evadean M. Williams, 95, of Coalport, went to be with our Lord on May 22, 2025.
Born in Lyleville on Aug. 29, 1929, the daughter of Melvin and Emma (Mayes) Kephart, she was the last of her generation.
In 1947, she married the love of her life, Harry B. Williams, who preceded her in death in 2002. Also preceding here in death were here parents; three brothers, Melvin, Clarence and Jesse "Buck" Kephart; two sisters, Arminta Korlinchak and Sylvella Thomas; a son-in-law, Michael A. Acey; grandson-in-law, Mark Brown; and great-great granddaughters, Kaitlyn Acey and infant twins Anna and Elizabeth Brown.
She is survived by three children, Harry Williams and wife Susan of Clearfield, Janey Acey of Houtzdale, and Charles Williams and wife Jeannie of Clearfield; 12 grandchildren, Ellen (Tom) Snyder, Windy (Matt) Alonso, Chip (Harry Jr.) Williams, Brian (Jodie) Acey, Danette Brown, Ryan Acey (fiance Brenda Kitko), Angela Acey, Michael W. Acey, Sonya (Jerry) Knepp, Calvin (April) Williams, Jamie (Steve) Pentz and Matthew Williams; 31 great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Garetta Kephart and Sonia Kephart; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Evadean was a devoted Christian and served as a Deaconess in her church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She worked for 17 years at James Industries in Hollidaysburg making Slinkey toys and did a lot of cooking, baking bread, listening to Christian music with Jimmy Swaggart. Her hobby was painting everything that needed it and some things that didn't. She was a quiet, beautiful lady much loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 511 Main St., Coalport, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Michael Dorich officiating.
Internment will follow at Beaver Valley Cemetery.
