G. John Sass Obituary
COALPORT - G. John Sass, 76, of Coalport, died Jan. 21, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., a son of Stanley Sass and Mary Narowski.
He was a member of Coalport VFW, Coalport Moose and Croatian Club.
He worked as a self-employed construction worker.
Surviving are his wife, Melanie (Bihun) Sass; a daughter, Elizabeth Sass; grandchildren, Ethan and Emma.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and two sisters, Josephine Shanaway and Pauline Simpson.
Private family services were held on Saturday, Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. David Lewis officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date at St. Michael's Cemetery, Irvona.
