IRVONA --George Caldana, Jr., 64, of Irvona, died Dec. 11, 2017, at UPMC Altoona.

 

Born May 9, 1953, Bellefonte, he was a son of George & Mary (Schall) Caldana.

 

He is survived by: Fiancée, Lisa Gallaher of Irvona, daughter, Jamie Whitehead & husband Larry of Bellefonte, Step-sons, James Gallaher & wife Cassidy of Cresson, Joseph Gallaher of Coalport, and Jody Cain of Spring Mills.  Step-daughter, Amber Diehl & husband Harry of Irvona, 

 

Also surviving are six Brothers, Richard of Snow Shoe, Joey of Port Matilda, Barth of Bellefonte, Raymond of Snow Shoe and Steven of Snow Shoe.  Seven sisters, Kathy of State College, Doris of Florida, Mary Ann of Snow Shoe, Nancy of Bellefonte, Janet of Bellefonte, Barbara of Bellefonte, Patricia of Bellefonte, and nine Grandchildren

 

George was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Friends will be received on Friday, December 15, 2017, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc. 91 Rose St. Irvona. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Douglas Williams officiating.  Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Rural LaJose.
