FLINTON — George H. Combs, 72, of Flinton, died at his residence. He was born Jan. 13, 1945 in Pikeville , Kentucky, son of Marcus V. Combs and Nettie Mae Robinson .He worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Lee (Webb) Combs; four sons, George Darren Combs, Christopher Combs, Todd Combs and Stephen Craig Combs; two daughters, Tonia Habeil and Ashley Morgan; a brother, Marcus Combs Jr., and four sisters, Priscilla, Annette, Ada, and Margaret.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcus V. Combs; his mother, Nettie Mae Robinson; and a sister, Kathryn.
