Gloria F Henry, 77, of Clearfield and formerly Irvona, died Sunday, Feb. 5 in the emergency department of Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born in Kerrmoor on March 12, 1939, a daughter of Keturak Freyer Brickley and raised by her grandparents, Henry and Emma Johnson Freyer.
She was a member of and served as treasurer of the Irvona Christian & Missionary Alliance Church for 25 years, where she also was a member of the Alliance Women.
She was a homemaker and also worked in their business, Henry Meat Market of Irvona.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn Henry; three sons, Greg and Kim Henry of Dover, Del., Jeff Henry and wife Donna of Irvona, and Chris Henry and wife Jennifer of Irvona; a sister, Elsie Sutton of Hightstown N.J.; six granddaughters, Ashley and Justin Clough, Kylie Henry, Taylor and Brandon Morris, Elizabeth and Dereck Shawley, Rebecca Henry and Jessica Watson; two grandsons, Brandon Ailes and Jeffrey Henry. 3 great-randchildren Lillian, Savannah , Colin
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Henry Fryer; grandmother, Emma Fryer; mother, Keturak Freyer Brickley; two brothers, Wayne Freyer and Isaac Freyer; and two sisters, Harriet Shaffer and Miriam Brewer.
Friends will be received Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc. 91 Rose St., Irvona.
Friends will also be received Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Irvona C & MA Church.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Irvona C & MA Church with the Rev. Douglas Williams and the Rev. Mark Eveleth officiating.
Interment will follow at Fruit Hill Cemetery, Ansonville.
