Harry T. Beers

UTAHVILLE - Harry Thomas Beers, 85, of Utahville, died Nov. 12, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

 

He was born Sept. 30, 1935 In Lyleville. He was the son of Cloyd Beers and Edna Sackett Beers.

 

He was a member of IBEW Local 5 where he worked as an electrician.

 

He enjoyed going to his camps in Potter County, Mahaffey, Muddy Run and hunting.

 

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law Stephen (Loretta) Beers, son and daughter -in-law John W. (Debbie) Beers of Utahville, son and daughter-in-law Kevin R. (Anita) Beers, Lylevile, son and daughter-in-law Thomas J. (Cheri) Beers of Utahville, daughter and son-in-law Edna M. (Toby) Hughes of Flinton, daughter and son-in-law Amy L. (Christopher) Bailey of Westover; his companion Betsy Koelle of Altoona; brother, Raymond Beers of Florida; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Susan A. Luther in 2003; and second wife, Judy Louise Ross in 2015; brothers James, Kenneth, Edward; and sister Shirley Jasper.

 

Friends will be received Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona.

 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16 2021 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating.

 

Interment will follw at Lyleville Cemetery.
