Ida Mae (Gill) Young

LAJOSE - Ida Mae Young, 92, of LaJose, died Dec. 4, 2020 at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings.

She was born March 23, 1928 in LaJose, a daughter of Oral and Mary (Rainey) Gill.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Mrs. Young was a homemaker.

She is survived by her two sons, Eldon Young and wife Veronica of LaJose, and Roger Young and wife Judy of LaJose; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton Young; a daughter, Minnie Zimmerman; a brother, Jim Gill; sisters, Grace, Ruby and Violet Gill; and twin infant siblings.

There will be no public viewing due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases.

Interment will be at Harmony Chapel Cemetery.
