BELLEFONTE - Iona M. "Rose" Beck, 80, of Bellefonte, formerly of Irvona, died March 1, 2023 at Geisinger Hospital, Danville.
She was born July 4, 1942 in Spangler, daughter of Jess & Miriam (Blake) Gregory.
She was a member of Irvona Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
She worked as a lab tech for Rutgers University and a driver for HV Camberg Bus Service.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Beck of Houtzdale; stepsons, Robert Beck of Banger, and David (Yetti) Chamilion of Westmilford, N.J.; daughter, Corinna VanScyoc of Bellefonte; stepdaughters, Georgeen (Anthony) Dixon of Manville, N.J., and Charlain Emanueli of Bricktown, N.J.; sisters, Laura Lee of Patton, Emma Baum of Flinton, and Rebecca Queen of Coalport; brother, Danny (Connie) Gregory of Texas; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Belva Gregory of Grampian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Beck; brothers, Robert Gregory, Jess Gregory Jr., and Kenneth Gregory; daughter-in-law, Faith Jacobson; brothers-in-law, Carl Baum and Garrison Queen; and sister-in-law, Elaine Gregory.
At the request of Rose, there will be no viewing, visitation or services.
