James F. Fleming, 88, of Coalport, passed away on April 7, 2026, at UPMC Altoona.
James was born Nov. 13, 1937, the son of Zene and Mildred (Duriez) Fleming.
James is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles; grandchild, Dylan Scott Keith; and great-great grandchild, Hazel Gates.
James is survived by wife, Betty (Gallaher) Fleming; son, Jimmy Ray Fleming of St. George, S.C.; daughters, Karen Gates (Jeff) of Glasgow, Patty Stiner (Rick) of Altoona, Sharon Keith (Tim) of Houtzdale, Dawn Britton (Gerry) of Johnstown; sister, Wilda Brown (Ken) of Cherry Tree; grandchildren, JimBob Fleming (Brandi), Karen Cahill, Josh Gates (Sara), Matthew Gates (Allyson), Heather Kootz (Patrick), Michael, Dominic Sisto (Jess), Scott Fleming (Michelle), Brandee Keith, Taylor Britton (Bryant); great-grandchildren, Lilli, Connor, Mia, Kowen, Sahara, Cody, Peyton, Carter, Emmett, Bria, Harper, Gordon, Evie, Arianna, Damian; and great-great grandchild, Sawyer.
There will be a viewing at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5-8 p.m., and a viewing on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rock of Freedom Church in Coalport.
Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in LaJose.
