James D. Litzinger, Sr.

James David Litzinger Sr., 60, of Beccaria died Nov. 21, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

Born April 17, 1963, son of the late Jessie Litzinger and Betty Hockenberry Sobal of Beccaria. He married Susan McMasters Mann.

Survived by son James David Litzinger Jr. (Tammy) of Irvona, daughter Amanda Litzinger (Ryan) of Houtzdale, step children Joseph Mann (Jessica) of Clearfield, Daniel Mann (Laura) of Irvona, Risa Daye (Robert) of Smithmill, April McCool (Mike) of Philipsburg, brother Jessie Litzinger (Mary) of Alabama; sisters Christene Welsh (Don Jr) of Irvona, Cindy Demko (Rob) of Houtzdale, Tina Tuly (Pat) of Beccaria, Michele Socoski (Randy) of Houtzdale, 28 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by father, and one grandchild.

At the request of Jim he was cremated.

A Memorial Service wil be held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc, Irvona with the Rev. Kevin Howard officiating.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. with a service at 3 p.m.
