Janet (Scherden) Rummel

Janet Rummel, 62, Rosebud, Coalport, died Sunday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Ralph and Fern (Carles) Scherden. Surviving are her husband, Henry Rummel; six siblings: Judy Williams, Betty Dinges, Jack, Brent and Bill Scherden; two stepchildren: Jordan Rummel and Teisha Tittle; and five grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at the Roseland Christian Fellowship Church, where a service will be held at noon, Pastor Robert Queen and Pastor Sandy Homer officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
