John Bartek, Sr.

John Bartek Sr. of Smoke Run passed away Nov. 18, 2025 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital.

John was born July 15, 1946 in Philipsburg. He was the son of John and Susan (Worsic) Bartek.

John is preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Morton; and sister, Emily Fransisco.

John is survived by his wife, Connie (Dickinson) Bartek; sons, Wesley Bartek (Mary) of Smoke Run, John and Jodi of Madera; as well as nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation for John on Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home in Irvona.
