John McGill Obituary
John Richard McGill, 75, of Clearfield, died Nov. 13, 2022 at Ridgeview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
He was born March 20, 1947 in Philipsburg, son of Roy Weston McGill and Kathleen Matthews-McGill.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the Attack Squadron 42.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
Surviving are daughters, Janet (Abraham) Wagner of Howard, Sara (Michael) McClintock of DuBois, Katie (Shane Bell) McGill of Clearfield; sisters, Carol Botseas of Connecticut, Margie Bellish, of New Jersey, Kathy Troxell of Clearfield, Ann Cossick of Clearfield; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa McCandless, in 2018; his parents; and brother, David McGill.
Private services will be held at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Irvona with the Rev. Fr. Zab Amar officiating.
