FLINTON — John Taylor, 66, of Flinton, died Dec. 3, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.  He was born Dec. 27, 1950 in Waynesburg, a son of Everett Taylor and Madeline Redman Taylor.  He worked as a self-employed electrician.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Mock Taylor; a son, Daniel Taylor; a daughter, Deanna Haigh and her companion Wayne Stoutenger; sisters, Patricia, June and Carol; brothers, William, Kevin, Leonard and Nelson; a grandson, John Taylor; a granddaughter, Alexis Haigh; and a grandson, Mark Haigh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Taylor, and mother, Madeline Redman.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or services.
