Kieth VanRoy Lindsey, 84 years old of Mebane, NC, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2017 in The Hospice Home in Burlington NC. He was born on September 2, 1932 in Irvona, PA., the son of Kieth Lindsey and Ella Pricilla Bailey. He was married to Doris Jean Miles for 61 years.

He was a member at the Coalport Alliance Church and served in the Christian and Missionary Alliance for 40 years. During this time he pastored churches in Defiance, Ohio, Beaverdale, Nanty Glo and Holiday, PA. He was also interim pastor in Coalport and Beccaria,  and  Coal Run Pa. He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War.

Kieth is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Linda (Dan) Karlinsey of Strongstown, PA; daughter & son-in-law, Deloris (Dale) Poser of Mebane, NC; son & daughter-in-law, Larry (Helen Krupa) Lindsey, of Frederick, MD; sister, Jean Phillips of Harrisburg, PA; brother Howard Lindsey of Mahaffey, PA; grandchildren: Lora (Brad) Batchelor, Lisa Karlinsey, John (Danielle) Karlinsey, Joe (Sharee) Karlinsey, Amber (Matt) McKinney, Ryan Poser, Keith (Nicole) Lindsey, Hunter Lindsey; Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Karlinsey, Skyler McKinney, McKinley Batchelor, and two special girls who called him grandpa, Anita & Lily Sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kieth Lindsey; mother, Ella Pricilla Bailey; wife, Doris Jean Miles; brother, N. Clair Lindsey; brother, Paul B Lindsey; brother, Ralph W. Lindsey; brother H. Tom Lindsey; sister, Helen Zehentmayer and sister, Ruth Ann Beers.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 5, 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., 91 Rose St., Irvona, Pa 16656 as well as at the Irvona C&MA Church from 12 noon to 2 pm Thursday.

Services will be held at 2 pm, at Irvona C&MA church.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Rural La Jose. PA.
