Laurie J. (Strong) Welker

Laurie J. Welker, 58, Lanse, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, after an auto accident. She was born in Philipsburg, daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Snyder) Strong. Surviving are  two daughters: Amy Kephart and Ashley Fraser; a son, Charles Welker; a four brothers: Richard, Rusty, Charles and Kerry Strong; a sister, Terry Strong; nine grandchildren; and her companion, Jeff Moore. She was preceded in death a brother, Jeff Strong; and a sister, Sherri Kay Strong. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Fruit Hill Cemetery, Pastor Robert Queen officiating. Arrangements are by Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona.
