Lee Ann (Gallaher) Stiver

Lee Ann Stiver 86, of LaJose, passed away on April 30, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois surrounded by her family.

Born May 15, 1938 in Spangler, she was the daughter of Norman and Mary (Michaels) Gallaher. LeeAnn graduated from Harmony High School in 1956. After graduation she began working at Clearfield Cheese Co.

On Sept. 27, 1958 at Fairview Baptist Church, she married Arthur Stiver. Lee Ann volunteered her spare time helping the community. She was a granny reader at Harmony School. She was a member of the Mission group at Calvary Church. She enjoyed helping everyone, especially her family. Lee Ann loved attending events for her granddaughter, Breanne.

Lee Ann is survived by her son, Ricky Stiver and wife Brenda (Schmidt) of LaJose; and granddaughter, Breanne Bigelow and her husband David Bigelow Jr. of LaJose; brother, Robert Gallaher and wife Carole of Westover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lee Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Mary Gallaher; husband, Arthur Stiver; brother, Dennis Eugene Gallaher; sister, Elizabeth Jane Kucharcik; and four infant children.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 5 at 11 a.m. in the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona with the Rev. Jeffery Snyder officiating.

Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, LaJose.
