Letha M. (Strong) Queen

Letha M. Queen, 86, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Christ The King Manor in DuBois.
The daughter of George E. and Marian E. Straw Strong, she was born Sept. 30 1937 in Berwinsdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John R. Queen; and her brother, James Strong.

She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Richard) McCracken of Curwensville, Kathryn (Willard) Gallaher of West Decatur, Donna (Ed) Gill of Clearfield and Joyce (Shawn) Lamoreau of Grampian; her sisters, Sherlene Hudson of Curwensville and Jean Odell of Grampian; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and from 1-2 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Lloyd Dimmick Funeral Home, 91 Rose St., Irvona. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Leann Peters officiating. Burial will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery.
