LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Marie Monica Marano, 66, of Las Vegas, Nev., and formerly of Irvona, died Sept. 16, 2017 in Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas, Nev.She was born in Philipsburg, a daughter of Gasper Marano and Romona Kelly Marano.She loved her family, was a great cook, loved to read and listen to audio books, and enjoyed Facebook.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Lisa Marano; nephew, John P. and Amber Ilnicky; granddaughter, Kimberly Marano; grandson, Matthew Marano; and great-nieces, Alexis Ilnicky and Madison Ilnicky.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gasper Marano; mother, Romona Kelly Marano; brother, Anthony Marano; and two sisters, Jeanette Ilnicky and Antoinette Marano.

Services will be held at Rock of Freedom Fellowship, Main Street, Coalport on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at 11 a.m.

Interment will be at Crossroads Cemetery, Coalport.

Marie was gifted at lifting the spirits of those around her with laughter.
