Marjorie (Rowles) Kashien

Mrs. Marjorie Olivia “Peg” Kashien (née Rowles) died peacefully in Tyrone Hospital on October 28, 2018 of Glen Hope, Pennsylvania, at the age of 81.

Marjorie “Peg” is survived by her children; son John J. Kashien & wife, Ruth of Parma, Ohio, daughter Karen Thomas of Dubois and daughter Joyce Vanelli, of Coalport and 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Rowles, her mother Sylvia (Dunlap) Rowles, husband John T. Kashien, daughter LaRee Reeves,  daughter Marsha Kashien, an infant son, brother Paul Rowles, brother Clark Rowles, sister Dorothy Lewis and sister Elsie Baer.

Marjorie “Peg” was born on March 6, 1937 in Pike Twp., Pennsylvania to Joseph & Sylvia Rowles. She graduated from Madera in 1955. She married John T. Kashien, her sweetheart on August 6,1955. John T. died on November 28, 2013. She attended Glen Hope United Methodist Church. She worked in the Snack Department for Sears, in Cleveland Ohio. She was loved by many.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona, Pennsylvania.

Services will be held at 10 am, Friday, November 2 at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona, Pennsylvania with Pastor Robert Queen officiating.

Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cementary, Madera.
