BLANCHARD - Micheal E. Traveny, 65, of Blanchard, died Dec. 31, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born March 1, 1955 in Durham, N.C., a son of Harry E. Traveny and Doris Jones Traveny.
He loved hunting and fishing and being at the camp on the BRINK.
He worked as an engineer for Barnett & Sons.
He graduated from East Duplin High School and East Carolina University. His favorite sports team was the East Carolina Pirates.
Surviving are a sister, Robin Renee Traveny; a cousin, Al Hamilton; and numerous cousins. Also, his secured Pit Bull canine pal Bruce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Traveny; and his mother, Doris Jones Traveny.
Friends will be received Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc, Irvona.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home in Irvona with Al Hamilton speaking.
Interment will be Camp on the BRINK.
