Monte W. Stumph, 74, of Clearfield, formerly Westover and Marron, died Jan. 26, 2022 in Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehab Center in Clearfield.
He was born Nov. 11, 1947 in Spangler, son of John E. and Lucinda K. (Lewis) Stumph. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked for the state Department of Health, Howes Leather, and Barnes and Tucker Coal Company.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Lou (Curry) Stumph; brother, Robert (Mary Lou) Stumph; daughters, Shana (Barb) Stumph and Kristen (Sean Gergely) Stumph; step-son, Brian (Amy) Collins; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ashley, Joe, Nick, Madyson and Parker; great-grandchildren, Lacee and Jolene; his brother Robert's children, Sarah (Scott) Peterson and Tyler (Jamie) Stumph; and brother John's children, Ryan and Coty Stumph.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Allyson Gergely, father, John E. Stumph; mother, Lucinda K. Lewis; and brother, John Stumph.
Friends will be received Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1 2022, at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona.
Interment will be at a later date.
