Obituary

Paul C. Smith, 77, of Westover died March 22, 2022 in Westover.
 
He was born Feb. 26, 1945 in Spangler, the son of Francis C. Smith and Emma Jean Hazelton Smith.
 
He was a member of Westover Baptist Church.
 
He worked as a coal miner.
 
Surviving are his wife, Mary Beam Smith; sons, Bill (Tammy) Smith and Tom Smith; daughters, Rhonda Passmore, Donna Hilliard and Mary (Bill) Rainey; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one on the way.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Randy Hilliard; brother, Wilbert Smith; and sister, Janet Rounsley.
 
Friends will be received Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc., Irvona.
 
Services will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor James Hurd officiating.
 
Interment will follow at LaJose Cemetery, LaJose.
