Roger L. Dickinson

Roger L. Dickinson, 70, of Chesterfield (Coalport), passed away at his residence on April 26, 2023, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Clearfield on Oct. 25, 1952, the son of James and Betty Lansberry Dickinson.

Roger worked for various logging and auto repair companies in the area.

He married Sharon Smeal on Dec. 17, 1979.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Matthew (Crystal) Dickinson, William (Carla) Dickinson; daughter, Angie (James) Statler; brothers, Gary, Gene; sister, Connie Bartek; grandchildren, Madeline, Cassidy and Walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James; sisters, Sharon, Valerie; and granddaughter, McKenzie.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 9 at 1 p.m. in the Glendale Sportsmen Club, Black Elk Road, Irvona, with Pastor Scott Kephart officiating.
