Shirley (Houser) Waite

Shirley Waite of Coalport passed away on Oct. 3, 2025.

Shirley was born Feb. 10, 1944, and was the daughter of Bruce Houser and Vera Brown and was the wife of Robert Waite.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Waite.

She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Patton, as well as a homemaker.

She is the mother of Robert P. Waite Jr. of Missouri, daughter Debra and her husband Ron Manges of Coalport, and is the sister of brother Bruce Houser of Michigan. She had 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 4-7 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 9-10 a.m., with the service starting at 10 a.m., at the Trinity Methodist Church in Patton, which will be officiated by the Rev Gary Grav.
