Thomas Leo Shrock Jr., 89, of Houtzdale, passed on to his heavenly home on Aug. 19, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Beccaria, on Aug. 8, 1936, son of Thomas L. and Doris (Green) Shrock.
He was a graduate of BCI High School and an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Morrisdale for 65 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, David, first wife, Mary Lou (Rauch), and second wife, Kathleen (Rauch), and an infant daughter.
He is survived by his wife Willetta Ann (Toots) (Tyler) Shrock; his devoted son, Larry Andrews; and much loved granddaughter, Karlee Noel; sisters, Kathy (Bob) Phillips of New Holland, Gaye Scott of Fayetteville, Ga., Gloria Arkwright of Coalport; brother Robin (Denise) of Naples, Fla.; and sister-in-law, Frances of Coalport; stepchildren, Debra Hockenberry of Georgia, Tom (Marge) Master, of Coalport, and Yvonne (Mike) Keller of Harrisburg; eight step grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also surviving is Tom's neighbor and caring friend, Dennis Colton.
Tom, his brother David, and father Tom Sr. owned and operated Shrock Body Shop in Coalport. They transitioned from body repairs to manufacturing reproduction Studebaker parts in which Tom's love for Studebakers and his creative ability were instrumental.
Another endeavor that same year, highlighting their talent, was the founding of Shrock Bro Toys by Tom and David. These scale model toys were carved by David, cast by Tom, and painted and assembled by David and his wife, Fran.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 4, 2025 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3495 Winburne Munson Road, Morrisdale.
