Thomas "Cub" W. Baer

IRVONA - Thomas W. "Cub" Baer, 69, of Irvona, died Feb. 14, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Philipsburg, the son of George M. Baer and Gladys Eamigh Baer.

He was a member of Coalport VFW social, Coalport Moose, Croation Club in Smoke Run, Patton Sportsman Club, Patton American Legion and Patton Slovak Club.

He worked as a self-employed logger.

Surviving are his mother, Gladys Eamigh Baer of Curwensville; wife, Wendy Tobias Baer of Irvona; stepdaughter, Desiree; stepdaughter, Brandi; step-grandchild, Justin; step-grandchild, Genna; and several aunts.

He was preceded in death by his father, George M. Baer, on July 11, 1967.

Friends will be received at his residence on Feb. 27, 2021 at 326 Emma St., Irvona starting at 2 p.m.
