Victoria "Tudy" Miles passed into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025.
Victoria was born in McCartney on Nov. 28, 1929 and was the daughter of Ashley and Florence (Howe) Desmett.
In Philipsburg on April 23, 1948 she married John "Jr" Miles, they were married 73 years before he passed in 2022.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pearl Gillen and Cathryn Potkalesky; and brothers, Alfred, George, Charles, Robert, and Marlowe.
She was the last of her generation.
She is survived by sons, Dave (Laurie), Dan (Ruth); daughters, Jean (Milt), Sharon (Sid) Ellis; grandchildren, Jason (Lori) Miles, Lisa (PJ) Matier, Danielle Miles, Mallory Miles, Megan (Kacie) Miles, Scott (Dana) Ellis, Sid (Katie) Ellis, Derek (Ashley) Ellis; great-grandchildren, Elisha (Doug) Farster, Amber (Jeffery) Henry, Amaura, Audrina, Archer, Brooke, and Addison Ellis; and great-great grandchildren, Brooks and Briley Farster, and Halley Henry.
Tudy was an avid quiltter, loved flowers, and cherished time with her family. She was an active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Irvona, serving as a Sunday school teacher, as well as a deaconess.
The family would like to thank Asera Care Hospice for their care.
Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 22 at the Irvona C&MA Church from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a funeral service at 12 p.m. The Rev. Doug Williams will be officiating
